The Harvest of Generosity

What connections do the scriptures make about our hearts and giving? The Apostle Paul writes to the Corinthian church, exhorting them to adopt this mindset: “As you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in earnestness, and in our love for you – see that you excel in this act of grace too.” II Corinthians 8:7. The act of grace he was referring to was generous giving, and he knew that believers who have been saved by God’s generous grace are now able to give in similar manner. Paul was eager to see blessing come to the church as they responded to God ‘s initiative towards them. Join us for this journey through II Corinthians 8-9 as we survey the great grace of generous giving.
